Is the pool really public?
Yes. Standard miners can connect to btcpublic.vargatech.net:3334 and rentals or large rigs can connect to btcpublic.vargatech.net:3335 without creating an account.
Which port should MiningRigRentals use?
Use port 3335 with YOUR_BITCOIN_ADDRESS.MRR and password x. The start difficulty is 524288 and all statistics are combined with port 3334.
What username should I use?
Use YOUR_BITCOIN_ADDRESS.WorkerName. Only use a Bitcoin mainnet address whose private keys you control.
What is the fee?
The fee is 0.5% and applies only when a valid block is found. There is no ongoing fee per share.
Who receives the block reward?
The successful miner receives 99.5% of the Coinbase value at the BTC address supplied in the username. The remaining 0.5% is the pool fee.
Do normal shares receive a payout?
No. Shares are used for performance and connection statistics. In solo mining, only a valid Bitcoin block creates a reward.
Why is my wallet address shortened?
Public statistics shorten wallet addresses for privacy and readability. The pool internally uses the complete address submitted by the miner.
Which share difficulty should I use?
Share difficulty affects how frequently statistical shares are submitted. It does not change the probability of finding a Bitcoin block.
Which miners can connect?
Stratum V1 compatible SHA-256 miners such as Bitaxe, Antminer, WhatsMiner and Avalon can connect.
Is there a payout threshold?
No internal balance or regular payout threshold is used. The successful miner output is assigned through the block Coinbase transaction according to the pool terms.
Is solo mining an investment product?
No. The pool provides technical infrastructure and does not promise returns. Mining can continue indefinitely without finding a block.
How long does it take to find a block?
There is no fixed waiting time. Hashrate and network difficulty determine a statistical average, but an actual result can occur earlier, later or never during a chosen period. Each hash is an independent attempt.
Does a pool or miner restart reset my chance?
No stored luck is lost because there is no accumulating luck value. During downtime no hashes are produced; after reconnecting, every new hash again has the same probability at the current network target.
